Course Description

We all know and understand the importance of getting more exercise. But it’s not enough to just be aware of this – you need an exercise plan and to stick to it. Our fitness expert will give you all the tools and motivation you need if you are a beginner or just want to exercise more.

In this course, Fitness Instructor Maeve Kenny will take you through some of the major barriers we all experience when it comes to increasing our activity levels. Our hectic lifestyles, lack of motivation, fear of failure, etc. should not prevent us from getting more active.

Personal Trainer

Maeve McKillop

After qualifying as a NCEHF & REPS Ireland Personal Trainer, Maeve set up her own Health & Fitness Company called Hissy Fit Ltd. She has continued her studies within the industry and qualified as a Mat Pilates Instructor in 2012. She is currently studying to become one of the first UK & Ireland Chi Running Instructors.Alongside Hissy Fit, Maeve lectures on the Sports course in UCD.She is also the Head Running Coach for Spectrum Wellness and Laya Healthcare, working with corporate clients.
